its been a while since my last visit to my own blog..mmmm...its been 2 months plus actually..tat simply tells me that "man i'm havin such a l i f e"..yeap life has indeed been an excess baggage for me lately..lots to do, one thing after da other, yet so lil' time.

however.
im lovin it even more, da more it takes me to..the more i appreciate it.
from monday to monday, it takes away lots of me to live such a life.
its funny how there's a sayin "its every woman's life" if ur feelin that life is gettin' abit too much lately..huh whats with us women?

these few weeks, lots have been hinderin me.some good , some not so good. here we go:

compromise.
this is a big factor that traps us.the big 'C' for me is this.
lotsa times , when the big 'C' comes in, life becomes more c.o.m.p.l.i.c.a.t.e.d

time.
this is something that i treasure most, and most of u readin this will agree with me on this? its overwhelming for me when i think back on what da past has been like, where it has bring me to now,and what it has in store for me next. its all to do with time.

we overexaggerate yesterday,
we overestimate tomorrow,

woohoo!

beautiful morning. got up early to start sorting out my wardrobe,yeap we're movin 2 a new house in 11 days. YES i an excited as well as lookin` fwd to da new room, new neighbours, new ppl, and of course, new pond-next-to-my-house,, with all da ducks :) yea my brother hendra referred to it as a dream come true, he needs a place to get his inspiration from..tats what he said :) for me, i love parks and gardens and YES, the duck-pond, cos i can just go there whenever i lyke and sit :) ok enuff about the new house :)

ANYWAY.. went to work early and the mornin` was as breezy and chilly as it can be. buses and trains were packed, wooh this is what they call early mornin` routines yea. been doin work experience at Kailis and France Foods - Osborne Park for 1.5 weeks now, and "its all good" except for the fact that i was just told by my gurlfren OliJoso just now that apparently our habit of bloggin/msn-ing/friendster-ing have caught da attention of one of our colleaques at work and she apparently reported us through a review letter or something! HAHA and here i am..still blogging :)

i said 2 oLi that "don't worry, i think its a matter of standin up for ourselves ol, as long as at the end of the day we manage to get all our work for THAT DAY done, we can defend our rights of doin` all these things :)" hihiiii...oli if ur readin this, im 99% sure that u'll be sayin *YES!* :)

talkin about work and everyday tasks,,i didn't go 2 work ysterday and man! a whole stack of work was waitin` for me on da desk,,yes my boss Jason Lim's a nice guy but he surely is a man of his word as well. Yea i rmember him tellin me that its gonna be a "day-to-day task/assignment" tats gonna be the system of my entire 3 wks doing this magang :)

da reason why my title of today's bloggin` is as it is .. is bcos i consider myself as a workaholic, not-so-chronic tho :)
wanna do things/get things done as fast as i can, at the same time am an extremely organised and yea u can call it..perfectionist..so at the same time i wanna do it right-right. and that surely takes TIME and extra effort, but yea..so far,,,work is good , thank u God :)

so so so..i would love 2 write more but YES, bein a try-hard-to-stay-focus employee :), i better get back 2 my sampling project..as well as my predust matrix tat was supposed 2 be done yesterday..huhu and finally the letters Jason wanted me to rewrite for him :)

OK here we go..ouw by the way..i got a song that was playin in my head this mornin` on my way 2 work (in da train, yeap this song caught too much of my attention and i ended up goin` in da WRONG TRAIN :) ou me me me, clumsy me God please help me :) i'm willin 2 improve, to be processed by u :)

this song describes me at the moment. i'm luvin sydney to bits. university of new south wales, in the library at this point of time. people around me are doin work, and here am i checkin on my emails, blogging , and yeap..of course, friendster :) its my 4th day in here now, and im still luvin it. this place reminds me so much of jakarta, my home. i miss that place, heaps. been catching up with lotsa people in da last 4 days *yeap imagine how many shots have i took in that poor-overused digicam of mine-my bro's actually* huehe..anyway, yea i love this place and been blessed by the hospitality, man i've been eating!! :) gak papa gak papa yah..hang in there gurl :)

Life has been

with light, and God appeared.

The Lord told the man he had work

large rock in front of his cabin.

The Lord explained

to push against the

rock with all his

might. So, this the

Been havin constant sleepless nights for da last…..erm I dunno how many weeks. I know I needed all the sleep tat I can get every night,, but not quite. Haven’t been able to get to that stage, yet. I know I Gotta keep on trying ey//..perseverance.

I guess life hasnt been too easy lately.

Da procrastination ,, mood changes ,, cold and flu symptoms..black-rings-under-my-eyes and u know. Unnecessary pains u get with sleepless nights.

Certainly they created some sort of a weight.

It seems like I am having toomuch of life..not that Im under chronic stress,, not a depression either..*thank God* yes..but just.. have not been balancing life well. Ill be out there doin stuff that may not seem as d most important thing to do,, then im gonna miss out in putting some good quality time in what I ought to do.

Am reminded to this quote I read from the passionate Princess of Sweden,

"Finding a balance in life has been my most satisfying achievement"

I dunno about you but to me this speaks a lot. Ive been realising over and over again that I gotta get my grip on things, to get my focus//attention and priority right. Balancing between my study commitments *oouh been slack on this one trust me* ,, church commitments..then to spendin time with my family.. *I hardly meet my brothers now..especially my oldest.* .. singing practices at church and outta churt…work at david jones *man this gets kinda tiring at times*and most importantly,, my quality time with God. Havent been praying as much now,, when in fact.. my heart tells me that NOW is when I needed to pray most.

J hehe..balancing between my coffee intakes..*not forgetting da cakes and biscuits..arh!*,, as well as my attempt-in-making-it-to-class-attitude..

its mothers day.its been a while since i catch up with my family,all of us at the same place at the same time.finally today we got together.i totally enjoyed and appreciated it.very meaningful to be honest.we went for lunch at da korean bbq restaurant just on top of woolies *huhu yeap u guys whoz a fan of Bim bim BaP,,u know what i mean hehe*and man i was bloated.i ate lots.but it was satisfying for sure.man the chilly squid was spicy.arh.went to look out for some shoesss.not really a heels-person but i managed.huhu.my brothers 'gave' me an early 2oth bday present and yes,,i love it.yeap its those pink shoesss.thank u bros.we continued on.to Baskin n Robbins.3 scoops between us 5.not bad ay.hehe.and we ended the family day..at the Car Wash.woosh woosh.................................. ^_^ thank u god for today.it means alot to me.

River Stone is performing Live this Wednesday 4th
of May 2005 at Ken Hall lecture theatre (Curtin
University, Building 403 across the Guild second
hand book shop) during the Student Common Free
Time:12-1pm. All of you are probably wondering
by now, who the **** is River Stone?

So I might as well give you a bit of insight about
this new band.

River Stone consists of:
Jody (No longer Afro), Mario (Pendekar), Irawan
(GM of Vivid Prod.), Cindy (Polkadots), Austin (The
Drummer), and Bremen (The Bassist, minjem HIV,
permisi....hehe).

The songs presented will vary between the styles
of blues, jazz, as well as contemporary pop.

Admission is FREE..but seats are limited..I
guarantee you dont wanna miss this. Especially if
you know the members..please show a bit of
supportyou never know.may be the next
show is no longer FREE. Hahahahahahaha ...

recently my friend nungky got into a real bad motor cycle accident..

up until now he's still lyin helplessly in Royal Perth Hospital..

visited him last week and managed to pray for him,,from my heart of course.

co-incidentally..

this article from airhidup.com came to my rescue..and i was touched and inspired by the story it tells.

its very similar to what happened to nungky..but da difference is,,da guy in da story is now living his life,,i mean he's able to get out of bed at least..

the main lesson that i picked from the story is da same tho..

i truly appreciate life now,, i count my life as bein'so blessed..

and yes,,there's LOTS to be thankful for..simply just bein'alive and well.

Telepon genggamku berdering dengan mengalunkan lagu "Bapa yang Kekal". Dan kulihat nomer penelpon pada kaca monitor. Eric yang menelpon menyatakan dia sudah siap untuk dijemput.
Kini aku bukan lagi menjemput Eric yang kukenal pada lima tahun yang lalu. Eric yang sekarang adalah beda. Dia bukan lagi pemuda tinggi gagah yang tampan, yang digandrungi oleh para cewek, dengan sedan BMW seri limanya. Eric sekarang adalah sahabatku yang spesial. Dan aku makin mengasihinya.
Aku hampir tak percaya ketika melihat Eric yang sekarang setelah kami berpisah selama lima tahun. Secara penampilan Eric tak berubah banyak. Tetapi jika seseorang mengenalnya lima tahun yang lalu dengan yang kini, dia dapat merasakan ada perbedaan dalam diri Eric. Aku menghampirinya dan bersalaman dengannya. Dandanannya masih selalu rapi dan bersih.

Senyum simpulnya masih senantiasa tersungging dibibir seperti dulu.
"Halo Eric, masih mengenalku?" tanyaku membuka pembicaraan.
"Lupa." jawabnya lugu. Aku tersenyum.
"Aku yang menjemput kamu ke gereja Minggu lalu. Ingat kan?" Dia masih mencoba mengingat.
"Oh iya, ya." jawabnya dengan memandangku seksama.

"Yuk kita berangkat sekarang ya?" ajakku masuk ke mobil. Dan kamipun berangkat ke gereja.
Aku mengenal Eric lima tahun yang lalu dalam persekutuan pemuda gereja kami. Dan perkenalan kami hanya sebentar. Ketika itu Eric bersama Susana pacarnya. Pasangan muda mudi yang hampir sempurna. Sang pemuda lulusan universitas terkenal di Amerika, kaya, tampan, melanjutkan bisnis ayahnya dengan sukses dan seorang Kristen. Sang pemudi cantik, kaya, lulusan luar negeri dan melayani di gereja. Kurang apalagi? Layaknya jenjang pernikahan akan mereka lalui dengan mulus.

Manusia merencanakan, tetapi Tuhan jua yang menentukan. Dalam rangka perkunjungan ke pabriknya yang berada di pelosok daerah, mobil BMW yang ditumpangi Eric bertabrakan dengan truk pengangkut semen. Dalam kecelakaan tersebut mobil Eric terguling dan masuk jurang. Eric masih dapat diselamatkan tetapi dia harus diterbangkan ke rumah sakit luar negeri dalam keadaan koma. Selama tiga bulan Eric tidak sadarkan diri. Meski aku hanya mengenal Eric dengan tidak begitu dekat, tetapi hatiku terasa sedih dan terkejut ketika mendengar berita perihalnya. Pikiranku melayang seakan menyayangkan, mengapa harus terjadi pada pemuda yang baik yang seharusnya dapat menjadi alat bagi Tuhan tersebut?

Sembilan puluh hari Eric tidak sadarkan diri. Dan oleh karena kasih kemurahan Tuhan Yesus, pada hari kesembilan puluh satu, dokter menyatakan dia sadar. Semua anggota keluarganya menyatakan puji syukur atas kesadaran Eric. Tetapi kekecewaan kembali meliputi mereka. Ketika dokter memberi kabar buruk bahwa Eric mengalami gangguan pada otaknya. Otaknya hanya dapat berfungsi kira-kira empat puluh persen saja. Maka akibatnya dia lebih lamban berpikir dan sulit untuk mengingat. Bahkan lebih tragis, Eric hampir lupa semua masa lalunya. Dia tidak mengenal lagi Susana pacarnya. Dia lupa kalau dia pernah belajar di universitas yang terkenal di Amerika Utara. Dan dia harus banyak belajar untuk mengingat hal-hal disekitarnya.

Teman-temannya pun mulai berhamburan. Siapa yang ingin berteman dengan seorang pemuda tampan yang setengah idiot? Siapa yang ingin berteman dengan rekan bisnisnya yang mungkin sudah tidak mampu mengurus pabriknya? Siapa yang sudi berpacaran dengan seorang pemuda yang lupa bahwa dia adalah pacarnya? Siapa yang mau mengorbankan waktunya untuk mendampingi seorang pemuda yang tingkah lakunya kadang seperti anak berumur lima tahun? Hanya seorang suster yang ditugaskan untuk mengurus keperluan sehari-hari Eric. Menyedihkan sekali melihat kenyataan ini. Melihat Eric duduk didalam ruang kebaktian hanya berdampingan dengan suster pengasuhnya. Dan menerima pandangan kasihan dari tatap mata jemaat yang lain. Apakah ini kehendak Tuhan?

Seringkali kisah Eric membuatku termenung sendiri. Betapa besar anugerah Tuhan atas hidup manusia ini. Banyak orang mengatakan 'berbahagialah engkau tidak seperti Eric'. 'mengucar syukurlah dalam segala hal'. 'gunakan kesempatan yang diberikan oleh Tuhan'. 'layanilah Tuhan selagi engkau masih bisa'. Dan masih banyak lagi komentar lainnya. Tuhan, apakah Engkau memakai Eric untuk tujuan itu ? Rasanya tidak adil.
Tetapi apakah Tuhan adil menjadikan langit tidak selalu biru bagi semua orang tanpa terkecuali? Ketika aku mengingat Eric, aku pun juga teringat betapa kerdilnya kita manusia ini dihadapan Tuhan. Yang menuntut keadilan kepada sang pencipta. Yang ingin memberontak untuk memenuhi harapannya. Aku pun juga semakin diingatkan untuk semakin tunduk dari ketinggian hati manusia, ketika kita masih hidup.

Uang dan materi bukanlah segalanya, ketampanan kecantikan juga bukanlah segalanya, pekerjaan yang baik atau kuasa bukanlah segalanya, kesenangan duniawi dan hawa nafsu pun bukanlah segalanya. Ketika Tuhan yang berdaulat mengambil semua itu dari hidup kita, kita tidak mempunyai apa-apa. Hanya Tuhan sajalah yang menentukan hidup kita, karena hidup kita tidak dapat lepas dari Tuhan.

Aku pun tak mengerti apa maksud Tuhan dari peristiwa yang menimpa Eric. Tetapi yang kutahu bahwa Tuhan masih mengasihi Eric, Dia bekerja melalui hidup Eric dan kiranya makin banyak orang yang merenung dan mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan dari kisah hidup Eric. Aku bersyukur jika aku dapat mengasihi Eric sebagai temanku dan menemani berjalan bersamanya untuk mengasihi Tuhan serta berpengharapan dalam hidup ini.

what is an attitude?

for da past few weeks,,i have been learning about attitude..not da easy way certainly..i sorta learnt it the hard way..i actually hurt some ppl,,offend some others,,and yesss,,basically i was just destructive. and yes,, certainly i can make excuses and say "ou please excuse my bad mood,please excuse my actions or sorry i'm behavin da way i do cos of this and this and that and yes da list will go on...." i realised that i really need to improve and change in terms of the way i react to people,,simply the way i speak..or the way i see people..im just simply convicted. i believe all of us will not be exaggerating if we say that we all need to improve and work on this area...the area of attitude. its easier-said-than-done,,but YES...it is possible :)

i just bought a book by J.Maxwell this afternoon when i went to KOORONG with cinTA,hans,vikchuy and andreasmago..i bought this book called "The Winning Attitude to Your Personal Success" and yess,, just some brief thoughts from it..

what is attitude?

it is the "advance man" of our true selves
its roots are inward but its fruits are outward
it is our best friend or our worst enemy
it is more honest and more consistent than our words
it is an outward look based on past experiences

i hope it will help us,,and yess...personally about this attitude thing...i want to take this chance to apologise to many that i have hurt/offend...especially my church friends..u know who u are and i am certainly sorry for that yes,,i am in the road of recovery from many things like i shared to some today morning durin' our 'meeting'..i have been struggling with life lately and yess,,problems will make us stronger when we are through with it and when we have "overcome what i thought i would never would",,but certainly our attitude in responding to da prob is very very..very important. like i told my lovely TazhTazh,,hehe.."the only one that can protect ourselves is siapa tas??yes yes..its us." YEAP..from this i learnt to manage MY EMOTIONS...and guard my attitude.

my life is a journey. a journey heading towards 'd' destiny. thruout the time, picked up lots of 'boxes'. boxes of joy, packets of laughter, bundles of joy, and yes,,bottles of tears. more are comin up,,but yes..out of all the 'boxes' there's one that i hold on so tight and dear,, that is the box of faith. this one keeps me well, like a survival-pack that gives me strength for the days and years comin' up in my journey,life. when things seemed unbearable, i'll just have to dig in this box, and i'll go on somehow. been exposed to truth as well as lies..believe i've got lots to learn as well as to unlearn. not givin up to pray that somehow God will give me a love for the truth, even if it hurts.
